It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Wow, if you think that I loved the fall, you should really know how I feel about Christmas. Looks like Santa's elves came over last weekend and put together some good old fashioned Christmas. We still aren't done but we are on our way. The pups are very excited about Santa's arrival and all that I can think of are a few things, my favorite things:
- presents from Santa
- Christmas trees
- Christmas parties
- lawn art that radiates enough light for a small African village
- Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
- Cousin Eddie standing on the front lawn because "the s$itter is full"
- Aunt Bethany saying grace
- the damn Bombus hounds from next door
- you'll shot your eye out kid
- Emmett Otter just trying to get his Ma a wash tub without a hole
- getting the perfect puppy picture for our Christmas card
- dealing with the crowds to buy all of our Christmas presents

So, all in all, we are on our way. As soon as Barney figures out how to write his name the Christmas cards they will be addressed and stamped, he really is hell bent on writing his name this year. Besides that we have a few issues with weather and getting the outside decorated and trying to find enough time in the day to buy gifts for all the kids.

We did have some snow last weekend! It was Kelcey's (a.k.a Anna Nicole Smith b/c she is so delicate) first snow fall and she did love it but fell sleepy quickly. In case I forgot to mention Barney had a tooth removed and let me tell you, he is a different dog! He feels much better and was able to enjoy the first snow fall of the season.

We are looking forward to spending our Christmas Tri-State.
- Christmas Weekend with my family in upstate NY
- Christmas Eve with my hubby's family
- Christmas Day with my sister and her family

Hopefully Santa brings a tank of gas and GPS system so we can make it to all locations.

Hubby and I hope that everyone has a festive holiday season. Oh, I made potato latke's last weekend, partly because of my Jewish sister in law wanting to share in the celebration and partly in spirit of my Grandma, Stella.  Let me tell you, that Polish Lady knew how to make a mean Latke!! Miss you Grandma!

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
Kelcey's 1st birthday - Dec 22nd
Barney's 2nd birthday - Jan 12th
(just wanted to post the dates in case anyone wanted to send some bones or trainers over to the house, that would make my life easier - lol)

Merry Christmas to all and may you find this glorious season beyond your expectations!!
By the way, the trees & the house are not done yet - give a girl a break!
I will post pics once everything is Martha Stewart appropriate!
