Preparing for Easter is always so much fun. I love scattering bunnies throughout the house while sprinkling chicks and eggs in rebirth excitement. It's so funny to see how much Cupcake has grown in the past year. Last year she was so uneasy about the egg hunt and looked in amazement at the bunnies around the house. This year she pulled up her boot straps and acted as if we always have 3' bunnies in the family room. Egg decorating was done primarily by Cupcake and we could not even try to help. The words "my do" and "my got it" were reiterated throughout the ENTIRE task.
Cupcake did take time out of her full holiday schedule to play with Gigi. Gigi's mom invited us over for eggs, bubbles and champagne (for the moms). The day was a tad bit wet however the girls put on their new raincoats and boots and played in the backyard all afternoon. The day was perfect and the girls could care less that it was a damp, rainy day.
Looking forward to the Easter Bunny's visit!!!
