Princess is 9 months old already! Insane, I know! Only 3 months until her 1st birthday. To think this time last year hubby and I were preparing for baby classes, taking hospital tours and finishing preparing for our new little bundle, Baby M.
Well, Baby M is 9 months old and doing so much every day! She is cruising furniture and loves to play "I'm gonna getcha". She actually picks up speed as she walks around the couch and giggles with delight. We even caught Princess standing independently the other day and once she realized what she was doing she actually stood back with a "woooooh" look like Joey from Blossom! She plays with so many toys and even sits still long enough for me to read bedtime stories.
She is trying new foods every day and has quite the appetite. She loves chicken, ham, turkey, all fruits and veggies too! She has mastered holding her bottle but prefers if we hold it for her, a true princess!
I have to say that she is quite the jabber jaws and chatter box. She loves to have conversations with her dolls during the night as well as tell stories during the day.
We had to take apart most of the bedding in her crib leaving only a sheet and a blanket. We walked into her room one day to find her laying sideways using her bumper as a pillow and foot rest. It was cute however when we walked in she was sucking her thumb with her feet up and head elevated signing the theme from Elmo's world. La, la, la, la and would immediately pop her thumb back in her mouth. After a few quick hits she would resume her song. It was cute but we were afraid that she would get stuck or have severe neck pains in the morning.
Princess almost mastered deproofing the baby proofs around the house, she is quite good at it. She also likes to play hide and seek with us. Well, its more of "I took something and when you ask me what I have I will hide it behind my back". It is very entertaining.
We are heading to the doctor in the morning for a check up, can't wait to find out how much she's grown. Lots of love Princess!!
UPDATE: Princess got a clean bill of health today. She is 20.2 lbs, 27.5 inches and her noggin' is 45 inches. The doctor said she is great and her head is holding lots of brains, lol! We are blessed to have a happy and healthy baby girl!
