Nanny's Retirement Lunch

I knew that I was going back to work after my 3 month leave and Princess was suppose to go to daycare but a few days prior to her enrollment we talked to Nanny about spending every day with her precious little cupcake! Nanny and Princess spent every day together for 9 months. Nanny accepted the challenge and protected our baby every day she was in her care. We are very fortunate that Nanny was able to put aside her life and live with us Sunday night through Friday night so she can hang with one of her girls!

They spent countless hours learning how to eat, play, sing, roll, crawl and walk. We all knew that eventually Princess would enter daycare and this day was quickly approaching. So, Princess and I decided that we would take Nanny to her favorite local restaurant. We returned to where we had Christening and had a fabulous lunch and called it "Nanny's Thank You Lunch". We had a fabulous lunch full of french fries and sandwiches. Princess helped Nanny order food and carefully ate every french fry until there were none in sight!

We can't thank Nanny enough for changing her life for a year to come and take care of our baby. I think that Nanny and Princess have a special bond that will last forever, besties for life!
