3....2....1.....Happy New Year!

I can't believe that 2007 is coming to an end. What a year! Overall, it was a great year and a year full of celebrations! Hubby and I had our parents over for a quiet dinner and to ring in 2008. I wonder what 2008 will have in store for us, trips, another puppy (kidding), new family members?

Well, I guess I can share the good news with all of you. Brotha and Wahlberg announced over the Christmas holiday that they would welcome a new little lad this summer! Baby K is due to arrive end of July/beginning of August. Actually the baby is due August 5th so who knows when the baby will make its grand appearance. We wish you a safe, healthy and happy pregnancy Wahlberg! We just signed Kelcey up for babysitting classes so if you need her let us know. She is great with kids and can probably rock the cradle for you. Unfortunately she doesn't have thumbs so she is limited but hey, free help is free help!

So New Year's Eve is here. Open the champagne, grab a crab wonton (they are delicious, let me know if you want the recipe) and feast on some pork marinated with pomegranate chipotle, it will be a nice, relaxing evening.

Before we knew it, 11:55:55 was here and we were counting down the seconds to welcome 2008! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! We hope that your year is full of happy times, good health and nothing but the best! We also hope to see all of you, stop by and don't forget to check out our blog
