Barcelona, Spain

Hubby and I started our trip in the beautiful city of Barcelona. After a very long flight we finally landed in Barcelona and checked into our hotel for a quick breakfast and nap. The weather was beautiful and the sights were only steps away. Our hotel was great, in the middle of everything in the Gothic Quarter. While we were in Barcelona we visited many museums including Picasso, Gaudi and Dali. We also went to several churches and visited their famous shopping quarters. This trip wouldn't be complete without tasting the local cuisine (and drinks). Boy, did we eat and drink our way through Barcelona, morning, noon and night. Paella and Tapas were overflowing while our glasses seemed to always be full with Sangria and local Spanish wines. Here are some of our favorite pics.
